The Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development plays a key role in driving sales strategy execution, managing client relationships, and supporting day-to-day sales team operations. This role combines commercial, operational, and financial responsibility, with a strong focus on OEM and dealership engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies to build profitable, long-term partnerships with OEMs and dealerships

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories

  • Coordinate commercial discussions and negotiations with OEMs and dealer partners

  • Oversee daily sales team activities, including target setting, scheduling, and performance tracking

  • Analyze sales data, prepare forecasts (monthly/quarterly), and ensure execution of sales plans

  • Prepare and present sales reports with key performance metrics and insights

  • Monitor customer satisfaction, manage feedback, and resolve escalated issues

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, sharing insights with senior management

  • Liaise with designers and product engineers to communicate market feedback and new product ideas

  • Maintain accurate sales records, CRM updates, and sales documentation

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 7+ years of sales experience within the automotive sector

  • Strong exposure to OEM sales environments and dealership ecosystems

  • Experience working with major OEMs such as Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, Nissan, MG, BYD, or Chery

  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring sales teams

  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools

  • Established OEM and industry network is highly preferred
