The SCM Executive plays a key support role in ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations across procurement, inventory, logistics, and production material planning. This position works closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners to ensure timely material availability, accurate documentation, and efficient system updates.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Order Processing
Assist in raising Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements
Support RFQ preparation and supplier negotiations under the guidance of the line manager
Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and dispatch status
Maintain accurate PO records and supplier communication logs
Production & Material Planning Support
Assist with material planning by reviewing production schedules and MRP outputs
Track daily material shortages and escalate issues to senior team members
Support expediting of critical materials to avoid production delays or line stoppages
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
Monitor raw material and service part stock levels
Assist in managing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
Support cycle counts and physical stock verification to ensure inventory accuracy
Logistics & ASN Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for inbound shipments
Ensure Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) are received as per requirements
Verify delivery challans, packing lists, and invoices against shipment records
Track shipment status and communicate delays or issues internally
Documentation & System Updates
Update ERP systems and Excel trackers with accurate transactional data
Maintain SCM reports such as order status trackers, delivery schedules, and shortage reports
Support audit documentation and ensure compliance with SCM procedures
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Production, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Sales teams
Escalate supply-related risks or delays proactively to minimize operational impact
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics (automotive exposure is an advantage)
Technical & Functional Skills
Basic understanding of MRP systems, ERP platforms, and supply chain processes
Exposure to procurement, inventory control, and logistics coordination
RFQ preparation and basic supplier negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
