This is a full-time position based in Malaysia. The Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations within the region, ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and strategic financial support to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations across the region
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Review and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal financial requirements
Supervise financial reporting and maintain robust internal controls
Manage cost controls, audits, and risk mitigation processes
Oversee office administration from a financial and governance perspective
Collaborate closely with cross-functional and regional finance teams
Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team
Qualifications & Experience
Strong expertise in financial analysis, auditing, and budgeting
Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within a corporate environment
Proficiency in financial systems, accounting principles, and analytical tools
Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring finance teams
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Prior experience in the Shipping Line, NVOCC, or Logistics industry is highly preferred
