Job Purpose

The Manager – Projects will be responsible for overseeing and delivering large-scale projects from initiation to completion. The role requires strong expertise in project management, construction management, stakeholder coordination, and contract administration to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver assigned projects within the approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

  • Oversee project schedules using Primavera and ensure adherence to critical path activities.

  • Lead and coordinate stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and internal departments.

  • Review and manage commercial aspects of contracts, including variations, delay damages, extensions of time, and claims.

  • Track project costs and cash flow, ensuring budget compliance and timely reporting to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, obtaining necessary approvals and permits.

  • Conduct regular progress reviews, resolve issues, and implement corrective measures where required.

  • Monitor consultant and contractor performance, enforcing adherence to project standards and quality benchmarks.

  • Support seamless handover of completed works to operations and ensure effective defect liability management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.

  • 8–10 years of experience in project management, preferably with a developer.

  • Proven leadership experience in delivering large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera (mandatory) and other project management tools.

  • Solid understanding of construction management, risk/change management, and project delivery processes.

  • Commercial expertise in handling contract administration and disputes.
