We are seeking a meticulous and well-organized Documentation Officer to handle shipping and customs documentation processes in compliance with Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in logistics documentation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a thorough understanding of import/export procedures, including use of port systems and customs platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and process accurate shipping documents including Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and Certificates of Origin.

  • Ensure full compliance with international shipping protocols and Saudi Arabian port and customs regulations, including the Mawani system.

  • Handle different types of Bill of Entry for both import and export procedures.

  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clients to coordinate documentation and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Maintain organized records of all shipping and customs documentation for audit and reference purposes.

  • Coordinate internally with relevant departments (sales, operations, warehouse) to collect data and prepare necessary shipping paperwork.

  • Track shipment status and proactively communicate updates to all stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve documentation issues or delays in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of documentation workflows, policies, and compliance checklists.

  • Ensure all documentation adheres to Saudi customs, trade compliance, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in documentation within the logistics or shipping industry in Saudi Arabia.

  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s ports, customs systems (Mawani), and regulatory procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Transferable Iqama is preferred.

  • Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

  • Immediate availability is an advantage.
