The Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading, optimizing, and managing the full spectrum of supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, logistics and contracts. This leadership role oversees a large-scale team across multiple functions and ensures the efficient and timely procurement of spare parts for military vehicles, compliance with government requirements, and seamless integration with ERP systems.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Saudi national professional with a strong background in defense-sector procurement, extensive experience in warehouse and inventory management, and proven capability in navigating government processes within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Supply Chain Management

  • Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Oversee large teams across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and contract management.

  • Drive operational excellence across sourcing, purchasing and warehousing.

  • Ensure high service levels, supplier performance, and accuracy of materials and spare parts supply.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Lead procurement strategies focused on military vehicle spare parts and critical components.

  • Manage supplier relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and negotiate long-term agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as Saudi government procurement standards.

  • Optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines through effective sourcing strategies.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, inventory accuracy, and material flow.

  • Develop and enforce SOPs for warehouse operations, safety, and inventory control.

  • Implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize shortages and excess stock.

  • Ensure effective management of spare parts categorization and lifecycle.

ERP & Systems Integration

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and utilization of ERP systems with the Defense client.

  • Ensure accurate data integrity, forecasting, planning, and reporting across the supply chain.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve visibility and operational efficiency.

Government & Regulatory Compliance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for interactions with Saudi government bodies.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, government procurement frameworks, and defense-related procedures.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local compliance laws, customs regulations, and import/export processes.

Contracts & Risk Management

  • Oversee contract creation, negotiation, renewal, and compliance for suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Identify supply chain risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity.

  • Develop strong contractual governance frameworks across procurement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Saudi National (mandatory)

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and vendors and contract management.

  • Strong background in defense, military vehicles, or spare parts procurement.

  • Proven experience managing large, multi-disciplinary supply chain teams.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Demonstrated understanding of Saudi Defense Sector regulations and procurement

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with MNG, military projects, or government contractors.

  • Knowledge of supply chain digitalization, demand forecasting, and cost optimization.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage complex supply chain networks and high-value procurement activities.
