The Manager – Training role sits within the Learning & Development function and is responsible for implementing the L&D strategy across the business. The role focuses on training needs analysis, learning design and delivery, L&D operations, and close partnership with business stakeholders to build capability at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across departments
Design, deliver, and evaluate learning and development programs
Manage end-to-end L&D operations, including planning, delivery, and reporting
Oversee L&D budgets, vendor management, and procurement activities
Partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational needs
Manage digital learning platforms and learning technologies
Track training effectiveness, ROI, and reporting metrics
Lead and develop 1 direct report
Key Requirements
UAE National (mandatory)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Learning & Development
At least 2 years independently managing the L&D function in a medium to large organization or business unit
Strong experience in TNA, instructional design, facilitation, and L&D operations
Proven experience managing L&D budgets, vendors, and procurement
Hands-on experience with learning platforms (e.g. Oracle Fusion, LinkedIn Learning, or similar)
Strong stakeholder management and internal consulting capability
Excellent English communication skills
High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and modern L&D technologies
