The Manager – Training role sits within the Learning & Development function and is responsible for implementing the L&D strategy across the business. The role focuses on training needs analysis, learning design and delivery, L&D operations, and close partnership with business stakeholders to build capability at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) across departments

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate learning and development programs

  • Manage end-to-end L&D operations, including planning, delivery, and reporting

  • Oversee L&D budgets, vendor management, and procurement activities

  • Partner with business leaders to align learning initiatives with organizational needs

  • Manage digital learning platforms and learning technologies

  • Track training effectiveness, ROI, and reporting metrics

  • Lead and develop 1 direct report

Key Requirements

  • UAE National (mandatory)

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Learning & Development

  • At least 2 years independently managing the L&D function in a medium to large organization or business unit

  • Strong experience in TNA, instructional design, facilitation, and L&D operations

  • Proven experience managing L&D budgets, vendors, and procurement

  • Hands-on experience with learning platforms (e.g. Oracle Fusion, LinkedIn Learning, or similar)

  • Strong stakeholder management and internal consulting capability

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and modern L&D technologies

  • Prior team management experience
