We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop secure, scalable backend platforms supporting next-generation AI and agentic ecosystems. The successful candidate will design authentication frameworks, microservices, and backend infrastructure using modern technologies including Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Golang.

This role is ideal for engineers passionate about cybersecurity, distributed systems, AI platforms, and modern software architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure backend services using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Golang.

  • Build authentication and authorization frameworks for AI agents and machine-to-machine communication.

  • Develop scalable microservices following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture principles.

  • Implement secure communication protocols including SPIFFE and MCP authentication standards.

  • Collaborate with product, research, and architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Lead Proof of Concept initiatives for emerging technologies.

  • Ensure high-quality software through unit testing, integration testing, TDD, and code reviews.

  • Deploy and maintain containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Apply cybersecurity best practices throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Kotlin

    • Spring Boot

    • Golang

    • Docker

    • Kubernetes

  • Experience with:

    • SPIFFE protocols

    • MCP authentication protocols

    • Microservices architecture

    • Domain-Driven Design

    • Hexagonal Architecture

    • CI/CD environments

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

  • Exposure to AI platforms, AI deployment, or agentic systems is highly desirable.
