About the Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly growing digital asset and cryptocurrency trading platform, is seeking a Dealing Specialist to join its Trading Operations team in Dubai. This role is responsible for supporting daily dealing and trading activities, ensuring efficient execution of client orders, monitoring liquidity across markets, maintaining trading integrity, and contributing to operational excellence across exchange and OTC platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor order books and trading activity to ensure market integrity and efficient execution.
Execute and oversee client orders across cryptocurrency and fiat trading pairs.
Monitor liquidity levels and coordinate with liquidity providers to maintain market efficiency.
Perform daily trade verification and transaction reviews.
Support trade and transaction reconciliations across internal systems and external platforms.
Assist with liquidity monitoring and market-making activities.
Identify and escalate unusual trading behaviour, transaction anomalies, or operational risks.
Prepare daily dealing reports, operational summaries, and trading logs.
Assist in incident management and support business continuity during trading disruptions.
Support new asset listings and contribute to process improvements and operational scalability.
Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
Requirements
Essential
1–3 years of experience within a cryptocurrency exchange, brokerage, trading desk, or digital asset environment.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of order books, trade execution, pricing mechanisms, and market structure.
Knowledge of market-making and liquidity management principles.
Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Comfortable working rotational shifts in a 24/7 trading environment.
Willingness to work full-time on-site in Dubai.
Preferred Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in crypto trading operations, brokerage, or exchange environments.
Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
CFA Level I or equivalent financial markets certification.
Knowledge of pricing strategies, risk management, and algorithmic or high-frequency trading concepts.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or R.
Familiarity with REST APIs, FIX Protocol, Order Management Systems (OMS), and trading infrastructure.
Understanding of asset pricing, quantitative finance, or stochastic modelling.
