We are seeking a Configuration Control Manager to establish and lead a Configuration Management (CM) office and processes across engineering programs focused on high-visibility Military MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing all aspects of configuration control related to the maintenance, engineering design, and support of military platforms, subsystems, and parts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SolidWorks, a strong understanding of CM standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973 or EIA-649), and hands-on experience managing the full lifecycle of complex systems and components in defense MRO environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an ISO 9001 compliant Configuration Management Plan (CMP) aligned with MRO workflows and contractual requirements.
Establish, maintain, and control configuration baselines for systems, components, assemblies, and documentation using SolidWorks and associated PDM/PLM systems.
Oversee configuration identification, control, status accounting, and auditing processes for all product baselines (hardware, software, and documentation).
Manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Change Requests (CRs), Concessions, and Deviations related to MRO activities, ensuring accurate traceability to equipment and platform configurations.
Coordinate and lead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) with engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, logistics, project management, and client representatives.
Prepare agendas, track action items, and ensure timely execution of decisions.
Archive and maintain records of as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained configurations for all serviced platforms and assemblies.
Oversee integration of updated drawings, part files, and maintenance data into the PDM/PLM environment; ensure SolidWorks file management aligns with configuration policies.
Conduct regular configuration audits in line with standards and customer expectations.
Ensure compliance with client standards, export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), and cybersecurity/data handling protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Configuration Management, with at least 2 years in a military or MRO context.
Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM for configuration identification and control.
Working knowledge of CM standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649) and international MRO best practices.
High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Eligible for Saudi defense site access clearance.
Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
Area of Knowledge: Defense industry vehicle MRO operational knowledge.
Gross Monthly Salary: SAR 38,070 per month (this is basic salary including housing and transportation allowances)
